“Hardware tests”

Between 1966 and 1968, multiple uncrewed test flights of the Saturn rocket and Apollo Spacecraft were performed in order to prove the structural integrity and performance of the three-stage Saturn V rocket, Lunar Module (LM), the redesigned Command Module (CM) and the Service Module (SM).
